Hi there, and welcome to my rather infrequently updated home page. For those of you stopping by randomly, if today's date is much later than the date at the bottom of this page, you're probably better off writing to me if you want current information. Anyway, a quick and easy way of summarizing who I am and what I'm up to is with bullets, so here goes:
  • I'm currently a student of University of Toronto in computer science. concentrating in what our CS department calls Systems. I'm on schedule to end up with my degree in May 2002, which means I am seeking a job like a hungry tiger.
  • I have pretty strong background in engineering before I wanted to be a IT professonal. I spent seven years as a lab manager in Beijing Polytechnic University , after receiving my master degree in materials science and engineering at Xi'an Jiaotong University , China. I then worked as a research associate in University of Illinois for three years.
  • I found I like Canada almost immediately after I moved to Toronto in August 1998. I had a wonderful vacation last summer in Wasaga beach . Here is one picture. I will post more if I got time.
